Speed Check Plan checkSupport

Privacy Policy

Updated 24 October 2026

Speed Check has no accounts and keeps your results on your phone. A speed test only works by exchanging data with a test server, and that server sees your IP address. The free version is paid for by ads (Google AdMob and Unity Ads). We use Firebase to understand usage and fix crashes. We never sell your personal data.

This policy explains how FightTech handles information in the Android app Speed Check: Internet 5G WiFi, package internet.speed.check. Contact: support@fighttech.vn.

1. Speed tests and your IP address

When you run a check, your phone downloads and uploads test data to a measurement server. By default this is the nearest Cloudflare server (speed.cloudflare.com); the app also asks Cloudflare for the server location and your public IP to show on screen. Every server you connect to sees your IP address and the time of the test; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Pro users can pick a regional server run by Measurement Lab (M-Lab). M-Lab is an open research project that publishes the data of every test on its platform, including the IP address, as public open data. Speed Check tells you this and asks for your agreement before it uses an M-Lab server. Details: M-Lab privacy policy.

2. Information kept on your device

Your check history (download, upload, ping, jitter, loaded latency, time, network type, operator, signal values, server), place labels, notes, your plan speed and your settings are stored in the app’s private storage. They are not sent to us. You decide when they leave the phone: sharing a result image, exporting CSV or creating a PDF plan report. To delete them, use Reset local data, clear the app’s storage or uninstall.

3. Location (optional)

Android lets apps read the WiFi network name and some cell details only with location permission. If you grant it, Speed Check uses location for those details, for place labels and for the coverage map (off by default). Locations stay on the device with your results. You can refuse or revoke the permission at any time; speed checks work without it.

4. Advertising

The free version shows banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob and Unity Ads. These providers may collect your device’s Advertising ID, IP address, device and OS details and how you interact with ads, to deliver, limit and measure ads and, where permitted, personalise them. Read how Google uses information from apps and Unity’s privacy policy. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation, in your Android settings. Pro removes ads.

The app also downloads a small settings file from fighttech.vn that turns ad formats on or off. The request contains only the app’s package name; like any web request, our server sees your IP address. No identifier or result is sent.

5. Analytics and crash reports

We use Firebase Analytics to collect usage events (such as a check being completed or a screen being opened) with an app instance ID, device model, OS version and approximate country, and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports (stack trace, app version, device and OS details, installation ID). This tells us what to fix and improve. See Firebase privacy and security.

6. Payments

Pro is sold through Google Play Billing as a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Google processes the payment; we never receive your card details. The app checks with Google Play which purchases belong to your Google account in order to unlock Pro.

7. What we don’t do

8. Permissions used

9. Children

Speed Check is a general audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Retention, deletion and your rights

On-device data is kept until you delete it. Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play) and Unity keep data according to their own policies. If you want to ask about, access or delete data linked to your installation, write to support@fighttech.vn; we will respond and pass on requests to our providers where we can.

11. Updates

We will publish any change to this policy on this page and change the date above.
