Quick answers
- My plan says 300 Mbps. Why do I see less?
- A plan speed is a maximum to your home, not a promise for every device and room. WiFi, the phone's radio, the test server and busy hours all cut into it. Run checks at different times and let the ISP plan check compare your last 30 days with the plan.
- Is 5G always faster than 4G?
- Not always. A weak 5G signal can lose to a strong LTE one. Speed Check shows RSRP, RSRQ and SINR for both, so you can see how good the signal really is where you are.
- Can I keep my data use low?
- Yes. Use the Lite check, which measures download only and stays under 25 MB, or turn on Data saver so Lite is the default on mobile data. Full checks are capped on mobile data anyway.
- Where are my results stored?
- Only on your phone. There is no account and no cloud copy. Reset local data wipes everything.
- What do I get with Pro?
